Classics Unchained stages the greatest plays ever written with working-class actors, our own accents, and daring concepts that reimagine these plays on our doorstep. For over fifteen years we have produced award-winning Shakespeare, supporting local actors into drama school and paid work.

We co-produce with an ensemble of working-class local creatives, who join our Advisory Board. With support for showreels, headshots and a programme of workshops, this is not just a performance opportunity but a chance to stretch your skills and to grow. Shows tour around the NW and to Dublin, providing an unparalleled performance experience for emerging talent.
